Bei dem Crowdsourcing oder dem Prozess der kollaborativen Übersetzung werden interessante gemeinfreie Texte zum Übersetzen vorgeschlagen, zusammen mit anderen Nutzern in ihre Muttersprachen übersetzt und frei zugänglich gemacht. Die Texte können noch in der Bearbeitung gelesen und nach Status, Kategorie oder Schlagworten gesucht werden. Das Projekt trägt der Mehrsprachigkeit im Internet bei und setzt sich das Ziel die vom Aussterben bedrohten Sprachen zu unterstützen.

InterActive Terminology for Europe (IATE)

IATE (Interactive Terminology for Europe) is the EU's terminology management system. It has been used in the EU institutions and agencies since summer 2004 for the collection, dissemination and management of EU-specific terminology. The project was launched in 1999 with the aim of providing a web-based infrastructure for all EU terminology resources, enhancing the availability and standardisation of the information.
